After leaving college in the mid eighties, Jacqui endured a succession of unexceptional jobs, before finally gaining a production role in the BBC Natural History Unit. This was very exciting and a lot of fun, however redundancy forced Jacqui to consider a career change. She moved into the IT Sector, working as IT manager for a large construction company. This involved traveling around the country (a lot) and providing support to employees. Eventually novelty of the open road and motels wore off and Jacqui settled down and moved into marketing, working as a Marketing Manager for a furniture manufacturer, then with a Marcomms Agency, as well as some work in B2B marketing. This eclectic experience has now led her to Oomph’s door.

In her occassional spare moments Jacqui likes to practice Eqyptian Dance, read Tarot cards and write.  Unfortunately no publishers have beaten a path to her door yet, weighed down by bags of money, but at least being at Oomph allows her to be spend time with imaginative, creative people, which is almost as good.
