Hosting:

As it is the key platform that enables us to put the information we gather to good use creatively, we need to know all about hosting. Without reliable data being captured against a robust user experience we may lose some essential insight into our clients' customers. However, just because it's important doesn't mean we will do it ourselves. We may work with one of our preferred partners who understand the Oomph philosophy of Creative use of Information. This can be at any level from ecommerce hosting to marketing microsites. We work with Star and have our own solution for smaller scale sites where cost is a key factor and the data is less sensitive.  Our own environment has been undertaken with a successful due diligence by Co-operative Financial Services to allow us to host their branded website. Remember, we're an advertising agency but our reputation relies on our ability to understand the technical environment on the web.

Reporting:

Most crucial to Oomph is access to website data. In many cases this will already be running on a weekly, monthly, quarterly etc basis.  Where it is not, we can work with our clients on installing off the shelf software such as Webtrends or Site Intelligence to make sure they have control over their web data. However, it's often the case that Google Analytics will do the job - and it's free. We insist on providing customised and formatted reports for ease of use - reports that have an analytics layer applied. This gives us an integrated insight into your customer base and can combine research data as well as online and offline advertising. When we can help pull all of this analysis together we can lay down the strongest platform for the creative use of information.
