Media Buying

There are three services within Oomph media - media planning, media buying and optimisation. Our media planning is based on the marketing plan, available research and results and will include recommendations for the budget required and projected outcomes.

We can create the media buying brief and will buy both social, online and offline media as part of a fully-tracked schedule.

Marketing through partner or affiliate sites is often a key element in the online channel mix. We work with the established site networks and can manage the distribution of advertising and structure remuneration deals that work in the context of the overall media plan. In what increasingly feels like 'the age of the mediator' our affiliate links and relationships are becoming increasingly key. This also overlaps with the social media and PR which we need to plan and buy.

Tracking channel performance, right down to Return on Investment for individual search terms, is part of our standard campaign set up. For online media this is inextricably linked into media buying and placement. Campaign reports are tailored for individual projects to provide the flow of information that drives optimization.

Whilst we may be small, buying power isn't a problem for us, thanks to the backing of our Aim listed Cello Group. The contracts we've won and bought against prove this to be the case.

Campaign optimisation relies on our view across all the campaign data available, which we analyse against the objectives set and provide for our clients along with detailed action plans to optimise future activity.

All of this comes out in an intelligent format that allows the client to understand why we have recommended particular buying and planning decisions. If we get this right, it makes the creative task a whole lot easier.
